This market will resolve to "Yes" if Taylor Swift releases a re-recorded version of her debut album "Taylor Swift" by December 31, 2026, 11:59PM PT (Los Angeles time). Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Officially released means that a newly released album is officially available for download or streaming (not including live events) by the resolution date. A qualifying album must either have some form of the designation "Taylor's Version" in the title or be acknowledged by Taylor Swift as a re-recording of the relevant album. "Taylor's Version" re-recordings of albums other than the album titled "Taylor Swift" will not qualify this market towards a "Yes" resolution. The resolution source will be any official streaming or download site, e.g. Apple Music or Spotify.Trader consensus on Polymarket tilts toward "No" at 56.5% for a 2026 release of Taylor Swift (Taylor's Version), driven by her May 2025 announcement reclaiming masters to her first six albums, eliminating the commercial urgency behind the re-recording project. Though Swift confirmed the debut album is fully re-recorded, the absence of any official announcement, promotional rollout, or Easter eggs by mid-April 2026—despite fan speculation around the October 24 20th anniversary—signals low momentum amid focus on newer releases like The Life of a Showgirl. Historical patterns show her spacing re-recordings around anniversaries with heavy campaigns, but ownership shifts trader sentiment toward a potential non-Taylor's Version anniversary edition or delay into 2027, with the year's remaining chart cycles as key watchpoints.
