H100 GPU rental prices have surged nearly 40% since October 2025 lows of $1.70 per hour to $2.35 for one-year contracts by March 2026, per SemiAnalysis's new index, as explosive AI inference demand outstrips supply despite NVIDIA's Blackwell ramp-up. Spot and on-demand rates now range from $1.25–$6.88 per hour across providers like Vast.ai and RunPod, with capacity sold out through August 2026 and lead times extending into mid-year. Trader consensus on Polymarket reflects this tightening, driven by agentic AI workflows and hyperscaler repricing, though decentralized alternatives offer cheaper access. Watch SiliconData's SDH100RT index for daily benchmarks ahead of the April 30 resolution, with NVIDIA supply updates as key catalysts.
