This market will resolve to “Yes” if the NBA rules in favor of the Extraordinary Circumstances Challenge submitted by Luka Doncic and his representatives, allowing Luka Doncic to be eligible for end of season awards. Otherwise, this market will resolve “No”. If no ruling in this case is delivered by June 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET or the challenge is not submitted within the NBA’s required window, this market will resolve to “50-50”. The resolution source will be official information from the NBA; however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Trader consensus heavily favors the NBA approving Luka Doncic’s Extraordinary Circumstances Challenge to the 65-game awards eligibility rule, pricing Yes at 83% amid his historic MVP-caliber campaign leading the league in scoring average and total points while carrying the Lakers to third in the Western Conference standings. Recent developments include his agent Bill Duffy filing the appeal last week, citing two missed December games for his second child’s birth in Slovenia—where he returned to play just two days later—compounded by a grade-two hamstring strain that sidelined him for the final five regular-season games, dropping him to 64 appearances. The league has delayed awards voting, including All-NBA and MVP contention; despite pushback from analysts like Stan Van Gundy, the rule’s provision for family emergencies and Doncic’s rapid return and load-defying minutes bolster trader confidence in approval.
