This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 Edgar Martinez Outstanding Designated Hitter award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Trader consensus on the Edgar Martinez Outstanding Designated Hitter Award remains razor-tight atop the market, with Ohtani, Profar, Stanton, and Duran clustered around 44% implied probabilities amid early-season small-sample volatility after just two weeks of play. Defending five-time winner Shohei Ohtani holds a slight edge on pedigree and consistent power production in a stacked Dodgers lineup, but Jurickson Profar's breakout form from 2024 carries over with strong plate discipline, while Giancarlo Stanton's raw home run potential surges despite injury history. Hot starts—Yordan Alvarez tied for MLB lead with six homers, Yandy Díaz at .364 batting average—highlight the deep DH talent pool, keeping the race fluid as sustained OPS, RBIs, and at-bats over 150 games will separate frontrunners from pretenders.
